Chopard Global Ambassador Julia Roberts, 55, debuted a new haircut and color at the Watches and Wonders tradeshow in Geneva, Switzerland. The iconic actress was the star of Chopard’s booth. At the event, she discussed her role as the face of the new Chopard Loves Cinema campaign directed by James Gray. To celebrate the launch of the campaign, the Chopard, a Swiss luxury watch brand for men and women, was covered in beautiful campaign pictures of the actress wearing some of the brand’s watch and jewelry creations. Julia flaunted the new hairstyle opening day of the watch fair—she ditched her signature middle part for a wavy fresh trim, bangs, and auburn hair.

Julia Roberts Debuts New Bangs And Red Hair
On Monday, March 27, Julia attended the watch tradeshow event in Geneva sporting a new haircut and color. She got bangs and went with redder hair! The bangs were cut right above her eyes, and she dyed her hair auburn. The Pretty Woman star shared a photo of the look on her Instagram.
Julia’s longtime hairstylist Serge Normant also shared a photo of her dramatic transformation on Instagram, with the caption “new hair cut!” And, hair stylist Highbrow Hippie, who dyed the Mystic Pizza star’s hair, shared a video.

During the Geneva trip, the Chopard ambassador (who recently stunned fans with the latest campaign photos!) wore a stunning long-sleeved black dress while rocking her new bangs. Red carpet stylist Elizabeth Stewart shared photos of her new cut on Instagram. Elizabeth captioned her post, “@sergenormant banging out bangs in Geneva with @juliaroberts who is wearing a glorious necklace and ring by @chopard.”
“We’ve really had so much fun trying almost every cut and color combination on Julia, who is just the ultimate muse,” Highbrow Hippie wrote in their post’s caption. They continued on to say that “with any makeover, one knows the hair shape is paramount, and a good rule of thumb is to paint to the shape and compliment what is done once the cut is established. Although Julia looks gorgeous, this isn’t the first time that she’s rocked bangs. Throughout her career, she’s sported side bangs. And, the actress has been seen with bangs in various roles, like in the TV series Homecoming which ran from 2018 to 2020, and the 1998 film Stepmom.

Fans were divided on Julia’s new haircut. One person commented, “I love it. She looks great!” while another said, “Chic chic chic!!!!” A third added, in part, “She looks like a rockstar, so pretty!” However, other fans thought that her new bangs didn’t look flattering, “Personally, I think her hair is too thick to have bangs and I don’t think it’s her most flattering look!” one person wrote, while another said, “Terrible, looks like she can’t afford a haircut!” Another commenter chimed in with, “Julia is so incredibly beautiful but this looks like a different person…but still beautiful.”
Julia paired her new ‘do with an ivory knit vest, jacket, and pants from Nells Nelson. She completed her look with, of course, a steel Chopard watch as she walked the red carpet with the brand’s co-presidents, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele and Caroline Scheufele. Julia is no stranger to standout fashion looks. At the premiere of her movie with George Clooney, Ticket to Paradise, Julia promoted her film in a plunging, barbiecore pink Greta Constantine dress.
