Julia Roberts Steps Out In A Bright Pink Midi Dress For The 'After The Hunt' Premiere In Los Angeles

It's no secret that the Pretty Woman actress is one of the most renowned figures in the entertainment industry, and she's made it clear that it took a lot of self-work and growth to get where she is today. Her latest project, After The Hunt, a crime-drama film co-starring Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri, has thrust her back into the spotlight and, of course, attending some glamorous premieres.

In the movie, which is slated to premiere in theaters tomorrow, October 10th, Julia plays a college professor who is suddenly thrust into a difficult position when one of her students threatens to expose a dark secret involving her and one of her colleagues. Given the film is officially hitting theaters this week, she's been attending various film-related events and premieres, including the most recent one in Los Angeles. For the event, the 57-year-old wore a plunging, bright pink midi dress that brought some springtime vibes into the fall season.

The dress had trendy puffy sleeves and went down to a few inches above her ankles. The plunging neckline was made complete with a large statement necklace consisting of various colorful jewels. She wore her auburn hair down and in loose waves, and posed with a matching pink clutch in a pair of classic black heels.

Julia Opens Up About The 'Challenges' She Faced Early On In Her Career During A Recent Interview

With the release of her new movie, the actress has also been participating in new interviews, which has been nice for her fans, as when she's not working on something, she tends to stay out of the spotlight with her family, choosing to live in a more rural area.

During a recent interview alongside her co-stars Andrew and Ayo, Julia reflected on the earlier chapters of her legendary career and how, although she had very successful films early on, she didn't feel all too confident.

"I don't think I entered into my career with much confidence," she told People. "I encountered early on, not a lot but a few critical people who were really cruel, and it was a really interesting challenge for me to decide the kind of person I wanted to strive to be."

She noted that one of the reasons why not many people survive the entertainment industry is because it can be a "crippling" experience for those who are "insecure," adding that it's "not an industry to be in if you can't take criticism or harshness or being embarrassed."

"Of course, even then, I would have shreds of gratitude," she recalled. "I would think, 'Okay, there's a reason why it has to be so hard.' Now I look at it as some of the lessons that I'm the most grateful for because they proved my endurance to myself."

Fans of the actress are quite glad she endured the harsher, tougher, early chapters of her stellar career, and are excited to see her on the silver screen again.
