There’s a new sheer trend popping up on red carpets–and it’s not what you think!

For the Hollywood starlets not interested in showing *everything* on the red carpet in the season’s biggest naked dress trend, there’s always the option of rocking a sheer skirt.

That seems to be the move of choice for stars like Dua Lipa, Kate Beckinsale, Margot Robbie and more, who so far in 2019 have showed up at premieres and awards shows letting their legs do all the talking.

But don’t be fooled–just because their tops aren’t sheer, doesn’t mean the gowns aren’t totally revealing and SO sexy.

Dua Lipa channeled a bird cage in an Armani Prive gown at the ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ premiere in London on January 31, 2019.

Kate Beckinsale rocked the 2019 Golden Globe Awards After Party red carpet in a strapless white tulle Aadnevik gown with sheer panels throughout the skirt.

Margot Robbie wore a Chanel gown with a sheer skirt for the “Mary, Queen of Scots” premiere in New York on Dec. 4, 2018.

Yara Shahidi wore a stunning Fendi pink number with a sheer overlay to the 2019 SAG Awards.

Madeline Brewer wore a scarlet Brock Collection gown with a completely sheer skirt to the 2109 SAG Awards.

See what we mean? The see-through trend is sweeping and knows no bounds. What form will it take next–see-through tuxes for men? (Don’t get any ideas, Adam Levine.)
