Justin Bieber has had his share of ups and downs on the health front over the years, but with the birth of his son, Jack Blues, the new music he’s dropping, and the recent announcement that he’s headlining Coachella next year, fans thought he was on the up. But after his mother’s latest Instagram post, in which she talks about “praying” for her son, fans are not as convinced. Keep reading for more information.

Justin Bieber’s Mom Posts About ‘Prayers’
Taking to Instagram last week, Justin Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, posted a carousel of photos of her son along with a heartfelt caption. The photos, all from the same shoot and in black and white, show Bieber in a shirt that says “Pray for Me,” and Pattie’s caption shares the same sentiment.
“We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin,” she wrote. “I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin. Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain—be broken in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, surround him with TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION. HEAL EVERY WOUND in his heart, mind and body, seen and unseen, restore what’s been stolen, and cover him in WHOLENESS.”
“Fill him to OVERFLOWING with Your LOVE and COMFORT,” she added. “Continue to raise him up as a voice for Your Kingdom, unshaken and on fire for You Lord. Silence every voice that doesn’t come from You, and let his life be a bold witness of Your power, love, and healing grace.”
Social Media Reactions
In the comment section, fans wondered if Justin was okay—Pattie included a lot of language about healing and prayer, which doesn't exactly point to a healthy Justin. "Did I miss something?" a fan asked. "What happened?"
"What are we praying for?" another asked.
Others assumed it's because Justin's ex, Selena Gomez, married Benny Blanco this weekend. "The love of his life is getting married today," one person wrote. "His downfall started when they got engaged. Timing is everything."
"His mom knew Selena got married this weekend and was praying he wouldn't crash out," another user agreed.
"You know he loves her when his mom posts asking for prayers over him on her wedding day," a final user wrote.
