Just a few months after canceling one of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour shows because of an injury just a few hours before he was due on stage, Justin Timberlake has done the same thing again, leaving his fans extremely angry and disappointed.
The “SexyBack” singer, 44, canceled his concert at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, March 6th as fans were arriving at the venue, claiming that he was suffering from flu-like symptoms and was therefore too sick to perform.
Justin Timberlake Cancels His Show In Columbus, Ohio At The Last Minute
"You guys, I'm heartbroken, I have to cancel the show tonight," the "Cry Me a River" singer wrote on Instagram, in a post which went out roughly ten minutes before the doors were due to open and half an hour before the opening act was due on stage.
The father-of-two added: "I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it's gotten the best of me. It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you, you'll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all."
This isn't the first time he has disappointed his Ohio fans, as he canceled his show at the same venue on October 23rd, 2024 due to laryngitis and bronchitis.

Fan Comments
As expected, his fans took to social media to voice their frustration over the "unacceptable" timing of the announcement about the show being canceled, with many thinking he could have told fans a *lot* earlier.
"What was his excuse this time?" asked one fan on an X video showing fans leaving the arena after hearing that the show wasn't going ahead.
"He didn't know he had the flu earlier in the day?" enquired a second dubious fan, as a third added: "They would have known long before 10 min before the opener if he were sick.... The dude needs rehab." "Canceling [because] of being sick is 100% understandable. Canceling 10 minutes before the doors were to open is unacceptable," wrote a fourth.

"Could you have told fans sooner than 12 minutes before the show starts?" asked a fifth, in agreement, as a sixth added: "The show was canceled at 7:30 and the show was supposed to start at 8:00, I'm sorry if you have the flu you would've known before 1/2hour before the show starts. There were little kids standing in line that was devastated that you canceled. Shame on you."
"Bought almost 40 bucks in drinks tonight, was sitting in our seats, we thought the announcement was a joke. Paid 20 dollars in parking and now 2 vacation days wasted on this MF," wrote another furious fan.
"I'm sorry if someone is sick but it needs to be made right. We have traveled and spent extra money twice for a last minute notification…not acceptable," commented another.
