Justin Timberlake has been the subject of a ton of negative headlines over the past few months, from cheating allegations to his DUI, and now backlash for giving the least amount of effort possible at his recent concert. Fans are slamming him on social media, leaving comments like, “this is the self checkout version of a concert.” Keep reading for more information.

Justin Timberlake Gives Us Nothing

In the videos circulating online, Justin’s hit song, “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” starts playing, but after saying just the first three words, “I got this…” Justin puts his microphone down on the stage and begins wandering around, making some low-effort hand movements while the crowd sings the words.

While a dance break is certainly common in concerts, the “Sexyback” singer clearly had no choreography planned. Letting the crowd take the first verse, Justin picked up the microphone to sing the first few words of the refrain, before letting the crowd take the lead yet again. As many (angry) fans are putting it, this is less Justin Timberlake: World Tour and more Justin Timberlake: Karaoke Tour.

"He's just half-assing it across europe," another person commented.

"That's like the self check out version of a concert," another post reads.

"This concert could have been an email," added another, and a fifth said, "That's me logging on to my computer when I WFH."

"The next one is definitely going to be a Teams/Zoom meeting and they lyrics will be typed in the comments section!" reads another.

"He's such an amazing singer this is so sad," a final fan said.
