Will Kamala Harris Run In 2028?
On a recent episode of Sharon McMahon's podcast Here's Where It Gets Interesting, the host asked Kamala where they should expect a campaign launch sometime this year. "I haven't decided," Harris responded. "I might."
This isn't the first time she's made similar comments about her presidential intentions. In an October 2025 interview with BBC, she responded "possibly" to the same question. "I am not done," she said. "I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and it's in my bones."
This comes just days after she called President Trump out for his State of the Union address. "I watched it," she said of the record-setting speech. "It was full of lies. And, you know, when he wasn't lying, he was—it reminded me of our kids going tos how-and-tell at school. It was like—nothing that was true about really, how the American people right now, so many are suffering under the weight of high prices, unaffordable health care, unaffordable housing."
Social Media Reactions
While Harris saying that she hasn't ruled out running again is a victory for many of her supporters, there were still many naysayers on social media. "Kamala Harris should never run for president again," one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "She should be very burdened by what has been."
"Please no," another said. "Maga is the worst thing for the free world but Kamala won't win so I don't want a Vance president."
"Respectfully, no," agreed the next.
"That is not what our country needs," the next user posted.
"God I hope not," added another.
