Kanye West just let some new details slip about his split from Kim Kardashian. The former couple, who decided to call it quits after seven years of marriage and nearly a decade of being together, first broke news of their impending divorce to the public back in February.
And while the two have stayed as private as possible, some details have been released. Including Kim tearfully admitting on Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she felt she had failed as a wife.
“I just think he deserves someone who will support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming,” she had said on an episode that aired in June. “I can’t do that. He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything, and I can’t… I feel like a f*cking failure. It’s my third f*cking marriage. Yeah, I feel like a f*cking loser. But I can’t even think about that. I want to be happy.”
And this time, it is Kanye who has opened up about his feelings on the divorce.
The musician, 44, just released a new song that seemingly reflects on his relationship and split from Kim. In the song, he even announces that he believes his Kim is still in love with him.
The lyrics go, "Time and space is a luxury / But you came here to show that you're still in love with me... I'm losing all my family / Darling, come back to me."
The track even begins with the voice of Kanye's late mother, Donda West, offering advice on marraige: "Two lessons that he passed along to his children. The first is that no matter what, you never abandon your family. The second was that no matter what, you love unconditionally."
As West has always used his music to express his thoughts and feelings, it comes as no surprise that he is using his work to reflect on this challenging time in his personal life.
And it also seems that Kim is aware of Kanye's decision to open up pubicly through his work, as she has attended both of his recent listening parties. At each event, Kanye released music that discusses the divorce.
Kim attended the listening parties with the four children she shares with West: North, age 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
