Kanye West’s Plans To Go To Rehab To Become ‘A Better Human And Better Dad’ Revealed

After pulling out of his long-awaited Coachella performances, Kanye West is reportedly prioritizing time with his children and seeking rehabilitation, according to Page Six. An insider told the publication that the rapper, 44, is seeking a behavior treatment center “with a luxury component” and that while he has already seen and considered possible options, it is unknown whether he has come to a decision.

“West’s team has been looking at treatment facilities for him,” the source said. They also claimed that he is looking to embark on a journey of self improvement and “he wants to enter a behavioral treatment center to be a better human and a better dad.” In the past, the artist has been open and honest about his struggles with mental health and opioid addiction.

West (legally known as Ye), is father to four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian: North, 8, Saint, 6, Psalm, 4, and Chicago, 2. After countless erratic Instagram posts directed at Kardashian, 41, her new beau Pete Davidson, 28 and others close to him, the source seemed to imply that the musician is self-reflecting and making plans to improve his behavior.

Last week, another insider “close to” Ye reportedly told E! News that the Donda hitmaker has changed his approach to his divorce by “trying to stay removed and listening to the people around him for now.” The source added, “On some level, Kanye knows that what he was doing wasn’t working […] His new rep encouraged him to stay off of social media and the internet. It is extremely unhealthy for him.”
