It’s no secret that Kate Middleton is desperate to reunite the royal family once and for all, following her tough battle with cancer last year.
And it seems like she has already started to attempt to make amends, as she has reportedly been “in touch” with estranged brother-in-law Prince Harry amid the devastating California fires. In fact, she wasn’t the only one, as an insider recently told Life & Style that “most” members of the royal family contacted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to make sure they are okay.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Were 'Incredibly Touched' By Kate Middleton's Kind Gesture
"Most of Harry's family checked in," an insider spilled to the outlet. "Princess Kate was in touch on behalf of her and William – which is huge," they continued, before going on to say that the Princess of Wales' kind gesture was greatly appreciated by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
"It's no secret Harry has been putting out feelers to end the rift, and Harry and Meghan were incredibly touched by Kate's gesture," the source added.

Kate Middleton Is 'On A Mission' To Reunite The Royal Family
Now that she is in remission from cancer, the mom-of-three has reportedly made it her mission to reunite the family.
"Kate wants the family to reconcile. With the king's health continuing to decline, there's only so much time for that to happen," a source previously told Life & Style.
"Kate is on a mission to bring Harry home," the source continued, adding: "The main objective of her plan is for Harry to return to Britain and make amends with Charles." This is, the source says, because she has a "new perspective on everything" after battling cancer last year, and is done "waiting around for things to happen."

Kate Middleton Is 'Desperate For All Of Them To Reconnect'
Seems like she is already taking the right steps this year! The Princess of Wales is reportedly also hopeful that she and Prince William can reunite with Prince Harry and Meghan when they are in the U.S. later this year to launch their Royal Foundation charity.
"Kate sees the charity as common ground with Harry and Meghan, and she is desperate for all of them to reconnect," the insider also dished, adding: "She knows the best way for that to happen is for the four of them to sit down and make peace. The days of the two couples gunning for each other seem to have come to an end, or so people hope."
