Kate Middleton was once again the epitome of class and elegance when she and husband Prince William attended a series of events in Cambridgeshire on June 23rd, including the NHS Cambridge Children’s Hospital and the University of Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum for the unveiling of a new portrait of the couple by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, wore a blue and purple silk chiffon L.K. Bennett ‘Madison’ midi dress for the occasion, which featured a relaxed silhouette, a nipped-in waist, the most gorgeous feminine floral print, and *the* sleeves of the moment, flutter sleeves! The sheer sleeves are perfect for summer, and add something a little different to the otherwise lined dress.

And if you think you’re getting a slight case of déjà vu, you're not wrong, as the mom-of-three stepped out in the same dress way back in 2015, and then a few years later, wore the same dress in its pink colorway to a polo match in July 2019. Kate has had a longtime sartorial love affair with L.K. Bennett, regularly stepping out in the brand's clothes and accessories, so it doesn’t surprise us to see that she not only has the same dress in different styles, but that she has worn them on more than one occasion! She is the queen of outfit recycling after all!
Kate accessorized her feminine, summer-ready outfit with the Emmy London 'Natasha' clutch, and the brand's 'Rebecca' heels in the color 'Riviera,' and for jewelry, she went for some simple yet stunning aquamarine and diamond earrings. She finished off her feminine look with a gorgeous baby blue coat (perfect for keeping out the chill!) which juxtaposed nicely with the darker blue accessories.

As we mentioned earlier, the future king and queen attended more than one event that day, and they also stopped by the Cambridgeshire County Day which was held at the Newmarket Racecourse.
Kate didn’t want to change out of her elegant dress though (we don’t blame her; we wouldn’t either!) and simply went for different footwear for the more casual occasion, swapping her pumps for her trusty Castañer Carina wedge espadrilles, which meant she could take part in a little spot of soccer! If anyone is going to convince us to ditch the athleisure and sneakers and exercise in a feminine dress and wedges instead, it’s going to be Kate Middleton!
