Kate Middleton has been carrying out a number of royal duties in recent weeks, including hosting U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump during their official state visit to the U.K., which featured a series of high-profile engagements alongside Prince William and other senior royals.
And on Tuesday, September 23rd, the Prince and Princess of Wales traveled to Southport to show their support for the community following the July 29th, 2024 tragedy, when three young girls were killed and several other children were injured in a mass stabbing during a Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop at a local studio.

Kate Middleton Looks Effortlessly Chic In Southport
The Prince and Princess of Wales met with pupils and teachers at two primary schools attended by the victims: Bebe King, 6, Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, 9. The couple first visited Farnborough Road Infant and Junior School, where Elsie was a pupil, and later stopped at Churchtown Primary School to see a new commemorative playground created to honor Bebe and Alice.
The mom-of-three looked effortlessly chic in tailored grey trousers paired with a feminine Burberry pale pink pussybow blouse – a possible nod to the young girls’ memory. She layered the look with an elegant grey Jigsaw maxicoat that added polish and warmth on the crisp autumn day.
The Princess of Wales completed her outfit with sky-high Hugo Boss heels, a mini grey Smythson bag, and jewelry by Kiki McDonough and Annoushka. Her hair, which is back to its brunette shade following a brief (and controversial!) experiment with blonde, was worn in signature bouncy, glossy curls.
Prince William Delivers A Moving Tribute To The Victims
Prince William reportedly delivered a moving tribute to the victims. "The tragic events that unfolded in this town last year still remain difficult to comprehend," the Prince of Wales said, before praising the newly-opened commemorative playground.
"This playground is a symbol of how the community have come together to create such a positive place for the pupils of this school – a symbol of remembrance and resilience, a testament that love will always overcome tragedy," he continued.
"Many lives were changed on that terrible day – including countless members of this school community," the future king went on, adding: "Bebe, Alice and Elsie’s friends and classmates have come together to support each other and remember the girls in their own way."
He added: "To the teaching community here at Churchtown Primary and Farnborough Road, where we visited this morning – each and every one of you has gone above and beyond to help heal this incredible group of young people. Thank you."

Fan Comments
As expected, there was tons of praise for the Prince and Princess of Wales on social media!
"Looking radiant as always!" exclaimed one fan on Instagram. The same fan added: "I love when the Princess wears pink! What a wonderful occasion for all these kids and what a consolation to the parents and community that lost their little angels in a senseless attack. God bless and bring full healing."
"Catherine is so beautiful," gushed a second, followed by four red heart emojis, as a third dropped three heart eyes emojis. "Power couple of all time," raved a fourth, followed by the heart eyes emoji.
