Kate Middleton proved once again that she can effortlessly blend formal and casual style.

For her first public appearance since missing Royal Ascot, the Princess of Wales visited RHS’s Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital on July 2, where she also opened up about the challenges of her cancer treatment.

She wore a sharp beige pinstriped blazer by Blazé Milano layered over a white and brown button-up shirt. She paired the look with brown trousers and crisp white sneakers for a relaxed yet polished ensemble.

Her brunette hair was styled in soft side-parted waves, and she accessorized with a delicate necklace for a subtle, elegant touch.

Fans praised the mother of three for her clean and polished appearance:

"Catherine in cancer recovery looks more put together and composed than I do on any day ending in “y.” I hope she continues to find healing."

"She looks fantastic as always. Dressed appropriately…not trying to take the spotlight away from the visit."

"She is always so effortless in her style. I hope she’s doing well."

"I love the outfit! The stripes on both the blazer and top seem so fresh. Also like the sneakers and pants length. Actually, I like everything about this outfit."

Kate Middleton Opens Up About the Aftermath of Cancer Treatment

During the visit, she opened up about the emotional aftermath of her cancer treatment.

Kate candidly describes this period of her life as "really, really difficult" and shares the emotional toll of adjusting back to daily life after cancer treatment.

"You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment," she said, according to Page Six. "Treatment's done, then it's like, 'I can crack on, get back to normal,' but actually [that's not the case]."

Though she’s no longer undergoing active treatment, she isn’t yet able to “function normally at home as [she] perhaps once used to. [Having] someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment … is really valuable."

Kate acknowledged that healing takes time and finding a “new normal” is part of the process. “It's a roller coaster, it's not smooth, like you expect it to be. But the reality is, you go through hard times," she added.
