Prince Harry Has Reportedly Reached Out To Kate Middleton Several Times Since Leaving The UK
Royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror that the Duke of Sussex, 39, has reached out to the Princess of Wales, 42, more than once since he and Meghan stepped down as senior royals and moved to Montecito, California. But the Princess of Wales is very clearly siding with her husband, and doesn't want to play "peacemaker."
"Since leaving the U.K., Harry has actually contacted at least one royal: Kate," Quinn confessed. "She is sympathetic, but fully supports her husband and, struggling with her own health problems, has no intention of playing peacemaker," Quinn added, in reference to her cancer battle.
An Insider Says Meeting With Prince Harry Is 'The Last Thing' The Prince And Princess Of Wales Need Right Now
Prince Harry and Meghan addressed the Princess of Wales' cancer battle both publicly and privately when the news broke back in March. "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace," the couple said, with several sources suggesting that they also reached out to her privately.
It doesn't seem like Prince Harry and Meghan will be meeting up with the Prince and Princess of Wales any time soon though, as a friend of Prince William reportedly told the Daily Beast: "Meeting with Harry is the last thing that William or Catherine want or need right now." They added: "It's a fantasy. It's not about apologies or who said what, it is about protecting his family. Kate is recovering from cancer, and they are avoiding stressful situations."
