Speaking to People, a source close to the couple explained: "Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album. It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension."
A second source agreed, adding, "she was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It's put stress on their relationship." This comes after Orlando Bloom admitted while on the Today show that he and Katy make a daily choice to stay together.
"I think we kind of just demand that we get up every day and sat, 'I choose you, today, tomorrow, or whatever, or you choose me," he told Hoda Kotb.
Katy's Failed Album And Tour To Blame?
Katy Perry wanted to make a musical come back when she released her album 143 in September, and she set out to capture the same reaction that fans had to Taylor Swift's Era's Tour when she announced her Lifetimes tour. Unfortunately, Perry has been met with nothing but criticism.
Fans have called out the "Roar" singer for her much of her choices on the tour, from the choreography, which one fan said was "the worst choreography" they had "ever seen," to her outfits, which some viewers have called out for being "confusing" and "unnecessarily revealing."
"I'd die of embarrassment if I looked like this," one fan described Katy's outfit consisting of a futuristic cone bra, high-waisted bottoms, and thigh-high boots.
