And that was once again the case when she wore a fiery figure-hugging Bottega Veneta dress on the latest episode, which came complete with a plunging front, structured shoulders, and a dropped waist. It was a work of art, and the 39-year-old “Roar” singer looked absolutely incredible in it!

The mom-of-one candidly shared a video of herself backstage on Instagram, having what appeared to be a slight wardrobe malfunction as she struggled to get the dress off at the end of the show. "I can't get this dress off," a deflated Katy says in the video as she is slumped in a chair. Someone in the background can be heard saying, "We can cut it off," to which Katy replies: "You just can't cut Bottega."
"We've been cutting kids on #idol but you can't cut bottega," the "Harleys in Hawaii" singer captioned her post, alongside a sad face emoji and the scissors emoji.

And then of course were the comments to Katy's hilarious video which saw her explain that she couldn't get the dress off, which will no doubt live rent-free in fans' minds for many years to come.
