Kelly Clarkson and ex-husband Brandon Blackstock have had an undeniably rocky divorce, and the proceedings continue to be fraught with frustration as Clarkson now fights to kick Blackstock out of her Montana ranch. After the court ruled Clarkson the sole owner of their former family home back in October, the 39-year-old singer has been working to get Blackstock out of the house where he has been living since their split.
Blackstock has not made the split easy and while the pair were legally declared single back in September 2021, the issue of what belongs to whom has stayed at the forefront of the news over the last several months. According to new court documents via Radar Online, Clarkson plans to call for Blackstock’s evacuation of the ranch with the filing stating “Brandon Blackstock will testify as to the issues raised by Petitioner’s Request for Order that he vacate the [home].”

Clarkson purchased the ranch for her family back in 2019, with Blackstock recently attempting to claim that as it was purchased while the couple was still together, he had a legal claim over the property. However, a judge ruled otherwise in October, favoring Clarkson and declaring her the legal owner of the ranch.
But while the battle for the ranch has been a continued point of contention for the former couple, primary custody of their children was awarded to Clarkson back in November 2020, with the pair co-parenting despite their rocky relationship. According to a source for OK!, Blackstock, “is urging Kelly to put aside their differences and celebrate the holidays together with their kids. But she has zero desire to be on civil terms with him and isn’t ready to play nice.”
