Kelly Clarkson Reveals Her Talk Show's Return Date On Social Media Following Her Ex-Husband's Death
The American Idol alum has been going through a lot over the last month, as her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, with whom she shared two young children, died at 48 years old due to cancer. The news was rather unexpected, as only about a day before his passing, the vocalist announced she had to cancel some of her remaining Las Vegas shows because the father of her children had been "ill."
While she hasn't made many public statements, a source tied to Kelly told media sources that she has been "devastated" by Brandon's passing, despite their previous difficult and messy divorce, which has involved various lawsuits and legal battles since 2020, when they first filed.
Over the last year, the mom-of-two has been absent here and there from her famous talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, which many believe is due to the fact that her ex and children's dad was unwell. Therefore, when fans heard about his passing, they shared doubts that she may not want to return to her talk show.
However, this past week, Kelly and her show's team announced via Instagram that it would be back on air with new episodes for its seventh season on September 29th.
