This past Tuesday, Clarkson welcomed a number of guests onto her talk show, including Today's Hoda Kotb and country singer Lainey Wilson. Perhaps Lainey Wilson reminded the "Since U Been Gone" singer of her Texas roots, spurring her to choose a double denim look for the evening.
The look in question featured a midi-length high-waisted jean skirt with a small slit up the middle and a matching jean jacket, which Kelly wore with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. The singer added a thin black belt to the ensemble, which showed off her newly trim waist. And for a little pop of color, the talk show host went for red printed platform heels.
She wore her long blonde hair in loose waves and added a simple pair of gold hoops for a little glamour, and kept the makeup to a minimum, opting for a matte pinkish lip and blushed cheeks.
