Kelly Clarkson Says She Wants Everyone Who 'Passes' Her To Call Out Her Weight Loss Progress
The "Behind These Hazel Eyes" singer had a concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Saturday, May 10th, where she got candid about her hard work regarding her body transformation and how she wants to be told what a great job she's done.
While on stage, Kelly, who has been open about changing her lifestyle habits and eventually taking prescription medication to lose extra weight over the years, was complimented by a fan in the crowd. She then recalled a time when some of her team had told her that it was "inappropriate" to comment on how attractive someone looks, which she doesn't think is that bad.
In fact, the musician said she and other women in the industry should be praised when they work on their bodies.
"We're trying," she noted, according to People.
Kelly also added that she wants every single person who passes her to say "well done," as she's been putting a lot of effort into bettering herself, even though she claimed she felt "confident" at her larger size, too.
"I felt fine both ways, but I'm just saying it's a lot more fun with clothes now," she added. "I've been working on it."
