When we think of the Kardashians and Jenners’ original look and hair color, we think piercing black and dark brown strands. Over time, some of the sisters have switched things up and explored hair colors. Kim went blonde, Kylie went blue, and every shade in between. However, there was always one sister we could rely on to keep her hair dark in the iconic Kardashian/Jenner style… Kendall Jenner. Now we’re here to say, this is no longer true.
Just in time for the Holidays, Jenner’s hair stylist took her up a shade and her once dark strands of brunette hair, are now a caramel honey brown. Much to our surprise, this decision was based upon Jenner’s existing hair health and color.
Back in September for London’s Fashion Week, Jenner was asked to rock a blonde look on Burberry’s runway. While many thought this look was a wig, it was in fact the model’s natural hair color.
When Jenner decided to go back to Brunette (after only seeing if blondes have more fun for a couple of days), she probably was unaware of the hair changes she would experience in the future.
Since the color was added atop the blonde (bleached) hair, it was only a matter of time before the dark color faded and the light tones shined through. Instead of covering it up, Jenner was impressed with the sun-kissed look and decided to embrace the lighter color.
How long will Jenner keep this look for? While we’re unsure, it’s fun to see the iconic Kendall Jenner rocking a new hair color – mixing up the sister dynamic once more.
