Khloe Kardashian is not about to get back with ex-husband Lamar Odom anytime soon, and the message rings loud and clear after the former basketball player made a bid to get back into the 37-year-old’s good graces with a flirty Instagram comment on July 10. Kardashian recently shared a steamy bikini pic to her social media where she posed in a tight fitting brown suit, and both Odom and baby daddy Tristan Thompson swiftly commented on the pic, prompting the business owner and television personality to shut it down.
A source close to Kardashian revealed to E! that, “Khloe will always have a sweet spot for Lamar in her heart but has no interest in rekindling a romantic relationship.” The couple, who were married from 2009-2016 shared a strong bond, and Odom reportedly was a “huge part” of her life during that time, and Kardashian reportedly will, “always feel empathetic towards him,” but has no desire for a romantic reunion.
The pair broke things off in 2013 before finalizing the divorce in 2016, and Odom went on to struggle with drug addiction before suffering a near fatal overdose in 2015. However, the 41-year-old sports star seems to be back on the right track and is seemingly attempting to rekindle things with his ex wife after commenting “hottie” on her recent picture. “He has tried to reach out and get her attention and Khloe just laughs it off. She has a lot going on and it's just not her focus,” the source shared.
Odom’s Instagram comment also sparked a reaction from Kardashian’s baby daddy Tristan Thompson who responded by writing, “@lamarodom God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results,” with two shrugging emojis. Odom then took to Twitter to clap back, sharing a tweet that read, “NBA Twitter watching Tristan Thompson pretend to act tough on Lamar Odom." A source told E!, “Khloe thinks the IG comments from Lamar and Tristan were childish. She hates they were publicly acting like that, but also had a laugh."
Thompson and Kardashian also recently called it quits after allegations of infidelity swirled around the 30-year-old basketball star again, but the source revealed that the pair do still talk often. “Khloe is done with him romantically but they still talk every day and see each other often," a source shared. "They have to communicate because of True and Khloe doesn't want any stress or tension added to her life. She keeps it cordial, but is not taking him back."
