And although she has still yet to comment publicly, insiders have reportedly confirmed that the 37-year-old Good American founder actually reached out to him behind-the-scenes, in order to maintain the best relationship possible for their three-year-old daughter True’s sake. We love how grown up Khloé is being!
If you’ll recall, the 30-year-old Sacramento Kings player posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram Story on Monday, January 3rd, after paternity results confirmed that he was indeed the father of 31-year-old fitness model Maralee Nichols’ son. In his message, he apologized for hurting Khloé, and said that she didn’t deserve the way he had treated her. No arguments there!

Part of his apology read: "I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both privately and publicly." He also added, "Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years."
Insiders are keen to point out that Khloé wanting to keep the peace with the father of her daughter doesn’t mean that she is willing to take him back. Apparently, according to an insider, that will "never, ever" happen! "Khloé decided not to respond back publicly, but privately she let him know she appreciated the message," an insider told Page Six.
"She is taking the high road, and while she will never, ever get back with him, Khloé really wants Tristan to be a good father to their daughter True, and for him to be a big part of their daughter’s life," the insider continued.
"She’s a great mom and she wants her daughter to have a good relationship with her dad. So for that reason, Khloé is not going to fight with Tristan or block him from the family." Khloé deserves a lot of credit for the mature way she is handling it, and for having her daughter's best interests at heart!
