Kim Kardashian may not have been in or at the Balenciaga Spring 2023 show, but that doesn’t mean that she wasn’t involved in showcasing one of the sexiest and perhaps most controversial pieces from the new collection!
The 41-year-old Skims founder took to Instagram on October 5th and posted not one but five pictures of herself wearing Balenciaga’s strapless black belt mini dress, which is exactly what it sounds like: a mini dress made entirely out of black belts! As bizarre as the trend sounds, the Kardashians star did a great job of making it look chic and high-fashion, which we think is partly down to the styling, and partly down to her ability to make almost *anything* work!

In one picture, Kim can be seen lying on the floor wearing an oversized pair of black sunglasses and some black mules, while in another, she is standing straight and facing the camera, sans shades, while exposing a tiny bit of skin at the waist. Her hair is styled in a simple low bun, and she is sporting natural yet glowing makeup, which judging by the Instagram tag, is down to her Skkn by Kim range.
Kim captioned the five-image carousel: “When I couldn’t make it to the @balenciaga show @demna sent the show to me,” in reference to Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia. “That’s a lot of belts,” one fan commented, followed by the hand-clapping emoji. “I have two belts missing and I think I found them,” joked another. “Hottest queen,” gushed another fan, followed by two heart eyes emojis. “Literally slayed omg,” praised another fan, while another was fascinated by another part of the outfit, adding: “Looking deliciously devilish with these shades!”
