Kim Kardashian celebrated her 45th birthday last month — and as a member of one of reality TV’s wealthiest families with a billion-dollar brand empire, it’s no surprise she was showered with extravagant gifts.

In a new TikTok vlog, the SKIMS founder gave fans a peek at two stunning Hermès handbags gifted by her mom, Kris Jenner. One standout piece was a fiery red crocodile Hermès Birkin bag from 2001, designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, and estimated to be worth between $150K and $200K.

The mother of four revealed that the rare Birkin had long been on her wish list, but she missed her chance to buy it while busy studying for law school — only to find out later that Kris had purchased it for her younger daughter, Kylie Jenner.

“[Kris] ends up getting one for Kylie for her birthday before mine, one that I had on hold that I forgot to respond to. Gave away my swag and then acted like she never heard of it before,” she complained.

Now, the bag has made its way back to Kim as a birthday surprise. However, some social media users weren’t entirely impressed by the story. Critics on X (formerly Twitter) called her reaction “spoiled” and “over the top,” with one commenter writing that “she doesn’t even seem to thank her mom for splurging on her.”

That wasn’t the only lavish gift Kris surprised her daughter with—perhaps as a way to make up for the earlier mix-up. The famous momager also gifted Kim a small Hermès Kelly Cut clutch valued at around $30K.

The AHS actress shared that she already owned the darker version of the bag and was thrilled to now have the lighter shade to complete her collection.

For her 45th birthday, Kim marked the occasion in true star style—kicking things off with the Paris premiere of her new show, All’s Fair, followed by an exclusive after-party with her co-stars Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, and Naomi Watts.

The celebrations didn’t stop there; the ex-wife of Kanye West later hosted a second, star-studded bash in London, organized by renowned fashion photographer Mert Alas, with A-list guests including Kate Moss and Sarah Paulson in attendance.
