Kim Kardashian has shared more about how her bond with her daughter North West has evolved on Hulu’s The Kardashians. The SKIMS founder, 44, has four children — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 — with her ex-husband Kanye West.
Following their headline-making divorce, which included a heated custody battle, they were granted joint custody, and the Yeezy mogul, 47, was required to pay his ex-wife $200,000 a month in child support. Kim once faced difficulties with North, who was upset about not living with her dad full time.
However, in the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim revealed that North is now “obsessed” with her. This shift follows reports that Kanye is “sadly not around very much” for his kids, leaving Kim to handle parenting largely on her own.

Kim paid a visit to her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, during the episode. They shared an intimate and heartfelt conversation about their families. The sisters opened up to each other, discussing the joys and challenges they face within their family dynamics.
The SKKN founder told her elder sister, "The craziest thing happened. Tell me if this happened with Mason. North is like, obsessed with me now." Kourtney, 45, then said that North has "always been like that with me."
She then asked Kim, "Do you think you changed?" Kim replied, "I mean, possibly. It was a year of like, mad at me…" Kourtney proposed that Kanye might have contributed to the issue at hand. "Also, you guys were getting a divorce," she said. Kim concurred and said, "I think it was all the divorce, like, it's insane the turnaround."
This comes after an insider revealed in October 2024 that Kim was essentially a "single mom" and that Kanye was not spending as much time with his four children.
As per Ok!, the insider said, "She's pretty much a single mom. Although she has help, it's still a lot of work for her to balance and coordinate everything."
They continued, "Kim's life is around her kids' schedules. When they are in school, she works. When they are off, she's very much focused on being a mom." The tipster also shared that Kim "is not even dating anyone now. It's all about work and the kids."
