Kim Kardashian recently went to France for Paris Fashion Week and the internet has *a lot* of questions about one particular outfit she wore to the Balenciaga Haute Couture Show.
In a set of photos uploaded on her Instagram on July 7, the reality star was spotted wearing a shimmery, black, floor-length, long sleeved dress. It definitely showed off her gorgeous curves, but perhaps the main attraction of her outfit was the eccentric face covering. Also in black, the head piece completely hid Kardashian’s face and even covered a part of her hair. Kinda bizarre, don’t you think?
Her caption wrote, “BALENCIAGA HAUTE COUTURE SHOW! What an honor to walk in a couture show! thank you @balenciaga and @demna for this amazing experience!”

But as you may already know, this actually wasn’t the first time the SKIMS founder stepped out in quite a unique ensemble. During the Met Gala 2021, her outfit also involved an all-black dress that covered her entire body and face.
Obviously, the comments section was flooded with various responses. While some praised the 41-year-old celeb for her iconic look, there were those who thought otherwise. Out of her 324 million Instagram followers, one user asked, “How do you eat with the mask on, Kimberly!? @kimkardashian” while another one wrote, “Leave aside eating, how can she see?”

Aside from asking the important questions, a lot of the public’s attention was also focused on the mask, as it reportedly gave off Squid Game and American Horror Story vibes. In fact, one user even said, “Why did they make her wear a jock strap over her head???”
