Kimberly Guilfoyle Poses In A Bright Red Gown For The Hellenic Initiative's London Gala Amid Party Reports
Recently, the former First Lady of San Francisco was officially declared the United States' new ambassador to Greece, giving her an official position under President Trump's administration during his second term. The decision to grant her the role was met with a lot of backlash, given her lack of experience, but she's been embracing it, consistently posting from various events.
On October 15th, she shared several pictures of herself on Instagram attending the Hellenic Initiative's (THI) 9th annual gala in London, England, where she wore a dramatic, bright red gown. The gown had long sleeves and a circle print. The bottom of her skirt was slightly sheer, allowing her to show off her legs. She kept her long, dark hair down in waves and paired the dress with a matching pair of high heels.
"The event raised a record-breaking amount to support economic development and humanitarian programs in Greece and Cyprus, a sold-out evening for a powerful cause," she wrote in her Instagram caption. Not long after the gala, the internet started buzzing as plans were revealed that Kimberly was expected to throw an extravagant party in Greece.
In plans leaked to The Daily Mail, the 56-year-old will reportedly jet set over to the country this weekend to have a nightclub party with Greek pop star Konstantinos Argiros and billionaire and Vivid Seats co-founder Eric Vassilatos.
The Internet Reacts To Kimberly's Gala Look & Party Plans
Although her plans to party with billionaires in Greece have some people reeling, slamming her online for not being "classy" as a new ambassador. A source aware of the event told the above publication, "We look like the banana republic right now."
"You know Russia and China are looking at us like fools," they continued.
Still, as fans and followers of the former model saw her gala photos, they continued to hype her up. Fans wrote adoring comments about her dress on Instagram, and they continue to come in, despite the reports about her upcoming event.
"You are living your best life and happy for you!" commented an Instagram follower, as another told her, "You looked stunning."
One fan joked, "I just wanted to add it's Donald Junior's loss," referencing her breakup with President Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr.
We'll be very curious to see if Kimberly's Greece party still happens this weekend, and if some of her followers change their minds about her, but for now, many of them are continuing to look past the reports and cheer her on as she enters this new chapter of her life.
