Prince Harry Reportedly Wants To Reconcile With King Charles Before The Invictus Games In 2027
Prince Harry said in an interview back in May that he wants to end the rift with King Charles because "life is precious," and he is unsure how long his father, who is currently battling cancer, has left. We also know that King Charles is somewhat open to a reconciliation, because he wants to see grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Royal expert Hilary Fordwich weighed in on the current status of the royal family feud, and hinted that Prince Harry may be hoping that there will be a reconciliation before he hosts the Invictus Games in Scotland in 2027. That's still a long way away, but then again, there is a long way to go until peace is restored!

"King Charles, while cautious and wary, might attend the Invictus Games. But of course, he prefers all private matters to remain private," Fordwich told Fox News Digital. This already sounds like things are progressing in the right direction, as he famously snubbed his son when he flew to the U.K. last year for the ten-year anniversary of the Invictus Games.
"In addition, there are many conflicts with the royal schedule, let alone Queen Camilla's 80th birthday during the games," Fordwich continued, in reference to Prince Harry's step-mother, who to put it politely, he does not see eye to eye with!
And perhaps Prince Harry's treatment of Queen Camilla, which includes the negative things he has said about her in his memoir, may be his downfall. Fordwich emphasized that a reunion would greatly benefit Prince Harry, who has a lot to "gain," but that the royal family has a lot to "lose" if things go wrong and he reveals more damaging information.

"For Harry, it's about what he can gain, while, for the royals, it's about what they have to lose," Fordwich noted. She added: "Harry wants to be included. He misses not only the U.K. but many aspects of royal privileges. However, he hasn't been successful in any of his endeavors."
"For the royals, more disclosures and scandals are concerning," Fordwich noted, in reference to how Prince Harry has acted in the past. This isn't just in terms of the secrets he has spilled, but also how he has behaved about his private security being taken away, and the threats he made to his father, which insiders said the King was "disgusted" by.
"They simply don't need Harry around, particularly not Prince William, who is resolute regarding any reconciliation being a huge mistake," she concluded. If Prince Harry does patch things up with his father, we think he will have a long way to go before he does the same with his older brother.
