According to recent reports, royal author Tom Quinn said that King Charles is filled with dread at the prospect of the 42-year-old former Suits actress releasing a tell-all memoir about the royal family. King Charles Is Reportedly 'Filled With Horror'
Quinn said that the King is "filled with horror" at the prospect of Meghan writing a revealing memoir, which could very well feature new confessions from Prince Harry that didn't make it into his own memoir.
The Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family author speculated that the mom-of-two may be keen to write a book to boost her new lifestyle venture, American Riviera Orchard, telling The Mirror: "Despite all her efforts to make her new online business, American Riviera Orchard, a success, Meghan knows that a personal memoir about her time in the U.K. as a working royal would sell millions of copies and generate the kind of income she desires."
"She is also acutely aware that such a book would only boost traffic to her new online business," Quinn continued. "All this fills King Charles with horror because Harry is bound to be a major contributor to the book. And we know there is a lot more material."
Prince Harry Is Reportedly 'In No Mood To Apologize'
"After the publication of Spare, Harry himself said he had enough material for two books," Quinn recalled, adding: "With all this hanging over his head, Charles is not in a forgiving mood."
"If Harry were to say to his father and brother, 'Look I've gone too far. I'll stay quiet now and there will be no more embarrassing revelations,' it might be different. But Harry is in no mood to apologize like his wife, he still believes that all the apologies need to come from his family."
Given how King Charles snubbed his son during his brief trip to the U.K. to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, it doesn't seem like a reconciliation will happen any time soon. Therefore, the King has every right to be worried about what his son and daughter-in-law are planning!
