Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly “heartbroken” as her 14-year-old son Mason Disick is said to be distancing himself from her to spend more time with his father, Scott Disick. According to an exclusive source speaking to Life & Style, the reality star, 45, is devastated by the rift in her relationship with her eldest child after his decision to leave her home.
As the insider recently told the outlet: “[Mason has] now made the decision not to live with Kourtney anymore. She is heartbroken over it. While Kourtney is giving Mason space to work through his feelings, at the end of the day, she blames Scott.” Kardashian and her ex Disick, 41, also share two other children: daughter Penelope, 12, and son Reign, 9. As fans know, Kardashian and Disick were entangled in a tumultuous and highly publicized relationship from 2006 to 2015.

“Mason [doesn’t want] to come,” Kardashian said during a memorable episode from her family's reality show “He’s a teenager and he wants to be with his friends and his dad.” She also confessed to being “really sad” over Mason's choice, but stressed that she wanted to “make the most” of their trip.
“People have told her it’s just a natural part of life and that Mason will come back to her once he establishes his own identity, but it’s still painful,” the insider went on while spilling the tea to Life & Style. “Kourtney’s doing her best to accept that Mason would rather be with Scott right now. As reported by the anonymous tipster, the friction between Disick and Barker has negatively impacted all the children involved. Prior to Kardashian's romantic involvement with the musician, she and Disick maintained a close relationship while coparenting. However, the drummer's arrival seemingly altered this dynamic, the source said.
“Of course, the kids hoped Kourtney and Scott would eventually get back together,” the insider dished. “It’s been incredibly hard for them to understand that Kourtney wasn’t going to end up with their dad.” Currently, the insider revealed that Kardashian is not pressuring her eldest son to increase the time he spends with her. “She doesn’t want to let Mason go, but she’s trying to respect his wishes and not smother him,” the insider said.
According to the outlet, Mason has chosen to remain out of the limelight in recent years, unlike his younger siblings who appear on The Kardashians. He was noticeably absent from any footage of Kardashian and Barker's highly publicized wedding in Italy. However, paparazzi photos did confirm his presence at the event.
This all follows accusations against Kardashian of "neglecting" her older children and causing them "discomfort" by openly making out with Barker in their presence. A viral TikTok from earlier this winter captured Kardashian, Barker, and her daughter Penelope walking in front of a crowd at Barker's concert. Midway through, Kardashian and Barker began kissing passionately, seeming to make Penelope uneasy.
