Instead of reaching for a classic style, the former journalist opted for Gen Z–approved barrel-leg jeans, one of 2025’s biggest denim trends. The style is known for its curved, voluminous silhouette that balloons at the hips and thighs before tapering sharply at the ankle, earning nicknames like “horseshoe” or “balloon” jeans.

She styled the statement jeans with a fitted black-and-white long-sleeve zip-up top, leather boots, a slim belt, and a leather handbag, finishing the look with sunglasses and stud earrings. Jeff, meanwhile, also wore jeans, pairing them with a black shirt, a sweater, a cowboy hat, and sunglasses for a laid-back Aspen vibe.
While the couple certainly turned heads in Aspen with their fashion-forward looks, many Instagram users felt their outfits missed the mark and looked a bit silly.
