Amelia Hamlin and Scott Disick began dating back in October 2020, and their 18 year age gap has continued to make waves even after nearly a year into the relationship. However, the 20-year-old’s mother Lisa Rinna recently spoke out on the significant age disparity, and she did not hold back when asked about Hamlin’s relationship with the father-of-three.

In the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Rinna revealed to the cameras that she and husband Harry Hamlin are still taken aback by their daughter’s relationship with Disick. First referencing their daughter Delilah Hamlin and her romance with former Love Island contestant Eyal Booker, Rinna divulged, “Harry’s made it quite clear that he would not object if Delilah and Eyal got married, which is pretty shocking, but that says a lot.” She then continued, “I can’t say the same for Amelia at this point now.”
Rinna evidently wasn’t done, unloading to the camera, “Like, why can’t it be Harry Styles? Why the f–k is it Scott Disick?” Disick and Hamlin have been together for nearly a year now, unveiling their budding relationship at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween themed birthday bash last October.

Rinna has been coy about her feelings on the relationship in the past, and earlier this month when Andy Cohen asked her thoughts on the 18 year age gap, she said, “Listen, I will say this. Amelia’s very happy right now. And you really want your kids to be happy. So Harry and I are very thrilled that she is happy.” Hamlin might be happy, but it’s clear that Rinna is less than thrilled now.
Amelia is the youngest daughter of Rinna and Hamlin, and back in November the couple revealed to E! that they believed the romance between Disick and their daughter was “just a phase.” However, nearly a year later it’s clear that their love might be more than that. After finally going Instagram official in February of this year, Hamlin and Disick may be in it for the long haul.
