It is officially September, which means fall is practically here, and delicious fall-themed coffee drinks are hitting menus once again. Starbucks, one of the most popular places to get a pumpkin and fall-flavored beverage, has officially released its autumn menu, but unfortunately, not all of them are very weight-loss-friendly.

Luckily, fitness and nutrition coach Paige Johnston‘s company, PUSH Collective, recently shared a viral TikTok video with several ways to make the new Starbucks fall drinks “low-calorie” and much better for slimming down safely. As delicious as the Starbucks drinks can be, many of them contain high-sugar syrups and fatty milks that can easily hinder your weight loss journey, especially if you drink them several times a week. Now, there are some alternatives to try that can help you enjoy them all throughout the fall without totally messing up your progress. Read more about the three low-calorie orders below.

1. Iced Pecan Crunch Oat Milk Cold Brew Latte

Fall lattes aren't all about pumpkin spice. They can also embrace other flavors of the season, like cinnamon and pecan. That's what this delicious, nutty latte contains! PUSH's rendition of the Iced Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte is only 100 calories, and allows customers to still get their fall on, without all the extra sugar and calories.

To order it, you ask for a Grande cold brew with oat milk. Then, you ask for 2 pumps of the pecan syrup, along with 2 pumps of their sugar-free vanilla syrup. This way, you can still indulge in the sweet pecan flavor without overdoing it on the sugar.

2. Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte

Aside from their pumpkin drinks, Starbucks is famous for its chai, which is packed with all sorts of spice and aromatic flavors. One of their latest trendy fall drinks is the Pumpkin Cream Chai latte, which contains up to 400 calories. The PUSH version, however, includes a lot less and can still help you get a sense of those famous fall flavors.

For this alternative, you'll ask for a Grande latte (hot or iced) with almond milk. Then, ask for 1 pump of pumpkin syrup, 1 pump of chai syrup, and a packet of Stevia. Request a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, and you're good to go. Doesn't that sound good?

3. Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Last, but certainly not least, there's everyone's favorite fall beverage - the pumpkin spice latte. This iconic beverage has been a staple on the Starbucks menu, getting customers in the mood for autumn and Halloween. Right now, since it's still a bit warm out, people are opting for the iced version. However, the pumpkin syrup they use for their lattes is loaded with refined sugar, and if you're getting it several times a week, you put yourself in the way of slimming down. Instead, try this alternative, which allows you to enjoy the pumpkin syrup without spiking your blood sugar too much.

Ask for a Grande iced latte with almond milk. Then, request 2 pumps of pumpkin spice syrup and 2 Stevia packets. Top it with cinnamon, and you're all set!
