Mandy Moore is expecting her second child with husband Taylor Goldsmith, and she just canceled the rest of her In Real Life tour to prioritize her health and the health of her baby.
In a recent Instagram post, the 38-year-old singer announced that she’s cancelling the remaining show dates for this year. Moore opened up about the struggles she has been facing while pregnant and on tour, and also shared with fans how she ended up making the important and necessary decision. Uploaded on June 28, her caption wrote:
“Friends, It is with a heavy heart and much consideration that I have to let you all know that I am cancelling my remaining show dates in 2022. It has been an honor and an absolute dream to return to the stage again this past month, performing for all of you.”
She added, “When we booked these shows, I wasn’t pregnant and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are traveling (long hours on the bus and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed. I know that I have to put my family and my health (and the health of my baby) first and the best place for me to be right now is at home.”
The This Is Us actress concluded, “Thank you for all of your support along the way and thank you in advance for respecting my decision. I can’t wait to get back out there soon to bring this music and show your way!! All tickets will be refunded at place of purchase.”

Moore’s followers definitely showed her some love as they understood the situation. One user commented, “Your health is most important!!! We all love you!” while another said, “We will be patient!!!”
Content creator Emily Schuman wrote, “I can only imagine how tough it must have been arriving at this decision. Proud of you for always putting yourself and your family before everything. Love you and selfishly can’t wait to see you!”
Indie-soul recording artist AHI who joined Moore on tour also commented, “I completely support you sis!! Thank you for letting me into your world, if even for a short run. Wishing you and your family health and blessings!!”

Moore announced to the public in June 2022 that she’s expecting baby number two when she uploaded a photo on Instagram of her firstborn, Gus, with a shirt that says “big brother.” She shared, “One incredibly seminal chapter of my life just ended and the next one, as a mother of two, is about to start…and are we ever so deeply grateful and excited. Baby Boy Goldsmith #2 coming this fall!”
