However, a recent interview with Australia’s The Project has raised a few eyebrows among fans and critics, leaving them confused and even concerned! And once you watch it, you’ll understand why…
The undisputed Queen of Christmas appeared disengaged and oddly lifeless during a five-minute chat with host Georgie Tunny. She gave short, one-word answers in a flat, monotone voice, and generally came off as bored and dismissive throughout. Check it out below!
When Tunny asked her what she would like on her tour rider when she performs in Australia in October this year, the “Heartbreaker” singer dryly replied: “A kangaroo.”
Later, when asked how she deals with criticism, the Grammy-winner‘s response wasn’t much livelier, although it was a little longer at least. She said: “By not coping, is what I do. I mean, just don’t pay attention to it, you know? And everybody else goes through it, so… whatever.”
The clip quickly went viral for obvious reasons; and while some viewers slammed the BET Ultimate Icon winner as rude or uninterested, others had a totally different theory: it wasn’t the real Mariah!
