The company announced plans to upgrade the drive-thru experience for customers during an investor update on Monday, November 9th. This means McDonald's patrons can get their Quarter Pounder or Happy Meals faster than ever before!

The U.S. restaurant chain is currently testing express lanes for digital orders placed ahead of time, dedicated pick-up spots and automated ordering. This is huge!

CNN reports that the company was in fact losing customers to competitors due to slower drive-thru times prior to the pandemic, so big changes couldn't be coming at a better time.

"While you’re proposing to make drive thru’s faster are you doing anything at all to make sure ppl’s orders are correct.... seems you get it wrong more often than right," Tweeted another.

Well, I suppose they have some other improvements to make as well!
