Amid the ebbs and flows of their relationship, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have reportedly decided to take some time apart.
In an exclusive reveal to Us Weekly last week, a source dished that the Jennifer’s Body actress, 37, is presently undergoing a process of deep introspection, wherein she is reconsidering various aspects of her life.
The source further added that her relationship with the “Bloody Valentine” artist (real name Colson Baker), 34, had taken on a “toxic” edge, and the couple were constantly engaged in arguments as of late.

"Megan is reevaluating everything in her life," the source told the outlet. They added: "It was getting toxic between them and they were fighting a lot." The tipster continued, noting that Fox apparently "wants her freedom right now" and told the musician that "she wants space."
After splitting from ex Brian Austin Green (whom she shares three sons with; Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6), Fox began dating MGK in June of 2020. In January 2022, the rapper got down on one knee and proposed to the Transformers alum. In recent months, however, the mom of three has been seen without her engagement ring, which has led to rumors and conjecture about the current state of their relationship.
According to another source, Fox and MGK's bond and "dynamic is a roller-coaster, and things change all the time," as per Us.
Last month, Fox appeared on Alex Cooper's popular podcast, Call Her Daddy and opened up about her plastic surgery journey. When questioned about her and MGK's relationship status, Fox seemed evasive and reluctant to divulge any information.
"What I’ve learned about being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption," Fox said to host Cooper, 29. "So, I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship per se," she added during the March 19th episode.
She acknowledged the potential confusion and fascination their fans might have regarding her relationship with MGK, and expressed understanding of these sentiments at the time.
"What I can say is that [he] is what I refer to as being my twin soul, and there will always be a tether to him no matter what," Fox went on.
The Expend4bles star cryptically continued: "I cannot say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain."
