Less than one month after the internet thought she copied Pamela Anderson in her controversial Netflix series, Meghan Markle has now been accused of copying someone else in her new podcast!
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has partnered with Lemonada Media to produce her podcasts after parting ways with Spotify after just one season of her Archetypes podcast. Earlier this month, it was revealed that her first project will be called Confessions of a Female Founder with Meghan, and will feature businesswomen and friends talking about starting a company.

Meghan Markle’s Podcast Name Is Already Being Used By Another Content Creator
According to reports, there is already a YouTube series with the same name by Kady Méite, owner and founder of hoodie-hijab clothing firm Veil Street.
The 24-year-old businesswoman from Philadelphia talks about her achievements in the Confessions of a Female Founder series, and posts inspirational videos about how to succeed in business, as well as sharing some of her own history with her fans.
In November 2024, for example, Méite posted a video about what it’s been like for her being in business since she was 16 years old. And just last month, she talked to her fans about the “six things I wish I knew before building a business.”

Méite doesn't actually seem too upset about Markle's podcast name, and believes that the mom-of-two could have made a genuine mistake, and the names being identical is simply a coincidence.
"I completely understand why people are drawing connections, and I truly appreciate the support and understand their intention," she reportedly told Yahoo Lifestyle, before going on to reiterate how she doesn't want people to criticize Meghan, and she doesn't want to be responsible for dragging another woman down.
"But I also understand coincidences as well. It is highly unlikely Meghan even came across my channel but I am flattered by the thought," she continued, adding: "What does concern me is how quickly this is turning into another reason to drag a woman down. That's not something I want to contribute to. I know firsthand what it feels like to have my work actually copied... this isn't that."

As expected, the internet was full of negative remarks after the news that Meghan had taken someone else's name for her podcast had broken, with many referencing how the name of her As Ever lifestyle brand (previously named American Riviera Orchard) belonged to another business.
"Meghan couldn't even come up with an original title. She had to copy it! Unreal!" exclaimed one X user. "Is she serious?" asked a second, adding: "She can't think of a single original idea!" "How embarrassing! Doesn't she have people to search these names online first? How lazy," slammed a third.
"Another instance where a quick Google search could have prevented confusion with Meghan's project's title by checking for existing podcasts with the same name," thought a fourth, as a fifth quipped: "Confessions of a lying thief!"
