Some shocking rumors are going around about Meghan Markle‘s romantic history.
Markle’s estranged sister, Samantha Markle, recently wrote a book about the Duchess of Sussex, and we don’t know what to believe. In the book, Samantha claims that Meghan was dating chef Cory Vitiello at the same time she started seeing Prince Harry.
According to The Royal Observer, who obtained an advanced copy of the book, Samantha wrote, "What confused me was that, if [Meghan and Harry] had been dating for six months, she would’ve been dating Harry at the same time she was dating the restaurateur Cory, who seemed like a good fit."
She continued, "I imagine that Cory will be devastated by being ‘dumped’ for a prince, or was she dating them both simultaneously? I was sure it could be uncomfortable for either of them."
It wasn't the only affair that Samantha accused her sister of. She also repeated a rumor about Meghan becoming involved with one of her Suits co-stars during her marriage to Trevor Engelson.
"We heard through the grapevine that Meg was involved with someone on the show. I was in shock because I thought they had a marriage that defied all odds in Hollywood," Samantha wrote.
Although this might sound like juicy gossip, there are some problems with Samantha's claims. First, the book, titled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister: A Memoir, is not objective by any stretch of the imagination. Second, it's difficult to believe that Samantha has any more knowledge of her sister than the rest of the world since they've been estranged for many years.
At most, it looks like Samantha is trying to piece together Meghan's romantic history with the only information she has available to her, which sounds limited at best.
