Inside Source Claims Meghan Markle Is Professionally 'Dividing' Herself From Prince Harry
It's no secret that Meghan Markle's life has changed drastically ever since she and her husband, Prince Harry, officially stepped down from their royal duties and moved to America from the UK in 2020. After doing some bombshell interviews, then stepping away from the spotlight for a bit, she entered a new era as a lifestyle guru, with a Netflix series and brand.
Over the last year, she's caused some controversy with both her series, With Love, Meghan, and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which has been selling jams, wine, and more. In her Netflix show, internet users slammed her for being 'inauthentic' on screen, while others felt her lifestyle brand products were unnecessary. However, she's still plugging away, revealing that her Netflix show will even have a holiday special coming out this month, and continuing to appear at public events to talk about her new life as a businesswoman.
Because she's created her own brand, sources claim that after her With Love, Meghan, controversy began affecting her husband, Prince Harry's personal projects, and they're beginning to represent themselves more as individuals when it comes to their careers.
"They will be very [professionally] divided now," a source recently told US Weekly. "It's what they have been doing all year."
The source also added that they felt it's "healthy" for Meghan and Harry to have "separate spheres, identities and passion projects."
Prince Harry Is Reportedly 'Happy' Not To Be Involved In Meghan's Business Projects
For the last few months, it's been sounding like the famous couple, despite how much they boast about how close and solid they are, have been taking on a lot of their own individual projects and goals. With the mom-of-two becoming an even more publicized figure, sources have been saying any backlash she receives affects the estranged prince's mission to 'reconcile' with his royal family members in the UK.
Therefore, the notion that the Suits alum is beginning to make more career moves without her husband always there at her side is reportedly a sign that he's fine with taking a bit of a back seat.
"He always thinks she's making the right moves," the source told the above publication, with another adding that the prince was simply happy to see that his wife had "something she can sink her teeth into."
"It's what she successfully did before him, and he believes in the saying, 'Happy wife, happy life,'" noted the additional source. "He's happy not to be involved in that world."
