Social Media Reacts To Resurfaced Moments Of Meghan Markle’s ‘Awkward’ Interaction With Charity Leader After Prince Harry Is Accused Of ‘Toxic’ Behavior: ‘Bullying Grifters’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in the spotlight for a number of reasons right now, including Prince Harry briefly returning to the U.K. for an appeal hearing regarding his ongoing battle for private security, and Meghan’s highly-controversial solo projects.
The pair also garnered attention after Prince Harry shockingly stepped back from his Sentebale charity, which he co-founded with his friend Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006, last month. This then led to him being accused of “toxic” behavior by its chairwoman, Dr. Sophie Chandauka, who accused him of “bullying and harassment at scale.” And Meghan isn’t off the hook either…
Following Prince Harry’s shock exit, the former Suits actress has found herself on the receiving end of negative comments after an interaction between herself and Chandauka from last year resurfaced online.
The interaction took place at last year’s Royal Salute Polo Challenge at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, Florida, after Prince Harry’s team won and was presented with the trophy. The As Ever founder seemingly wanted to be involved in the photo opportunity that came alongside being presented with the trophy, which is when the awkwardness ensued…
As can be seen in now viral videos, including the one above, the Duchess of Sussex seemingly forces Chandauka to move positions during the photo op so she wouldn’t be standing next to Prince Harry. This made social media very angry at the time, with people calling her “rude,” “cringe,” “insecure,” and “bossy” among other things.
“The insecurity and rudeness of Meghan is on full display,” another Instagram user commented at the time. “She really is a nasty piece of work,” wrote another, as someone else said: “Wow, such a self-obsessed woman.” And the negative comments have returned now that the video has resurfaced and people are talking about it again.
