Season 2 of With Love, Meghan has already received backlash despite only being out for a few days – but that isn’t the only thing Meghan Markle is facing criticism for at the moment.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, has also appeared as a guest on an episode of The Circuit with Emily Chang, which came out on August 26th, the same day as her Netflix show. And there are, unsurprisingly, many things she has said in the interview which are causing a stir online…
Meghan Markle Talks About Royal Life In ‘The Circuit’ Interview
The As Ever founder opened up about her life before she and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals in 2020, taking aim at everything from her wardrobe to her behavior expectations.
But it wasn’t just what she said in the interview that caused a stir, it was the fact that viewers had already heard those anecdotes countless other times before, including the story about not being able to wear color when attending events with more senior royals, among other things.
"Is there an inherent tension in trying to be relatable while also being a duchess?" Emily asked, to which Meghan replied: "It was different several years ago where I couldn't be as vocal." She also slammed her royal wardrobe, and added: "I had to wear nude pantyhose all the time."
"Let's be honest, that was not very myself. I hadn't seen pantyhose since the '80s, when they came in the little egg? That felt a little bit inauthentic, but that's a silly example," she continued.
Meghan went on: "But it is an example of when you're able to dress the way you wanna dress and you're able to say the things that are true and you're able to show up in the space really organically and authentically, that's being comfortable in your own skin. And that's, of course, had different chapters in my life. But right now, no, I don't feel, I don't feel that I need to prove anything."

Meghan Markle Slammed For Criticizing Royal Life Yet Still Using Her Sussex Title
While Meghan criticized the monarchy's strict rules, viewers couldn't get past the fact that she continues to use her Sussex title despite her public grievances.
"Stop using the title if you hate the British monarchy," demanded one fan in the comment section of a YouTube video of the interview. "Clinging to the titles when they've chosen to make America their home is soooo cringe," thought a second.
A third agreed, writing: "She worked for the royal family five minutes and is still desperately clinging to those titles." "How many bills has Meghan paid at someone else's detriment? It doesn't even occur to her how hypocritical she sounds," added a fourth, as a fifth chimed in: "She has nothing new to say. She just regurgitates the same word salad. If she was authentic, she wouldn't cling onto that title."

"Meghan, if you hate the royals so much, STOP USING THE TITLE THEY GAVE YOU, the hypocrisy and disrespect of this woman is insane. We organically hate this woman, I don't understand why the media is trying so hard to make us like her," declared a sixth.
Others slammed her for criticizing the royal family – including the dress codes – while some argued the whole interview felt manufactured. "This is NOT an interview, more like an infomercial for a inauthentic life," wrote a seventh.
