A resurfaced video of Meghan Markle failing to follow orders is going viral, with the internet slamming her “disrespectful” behavior. The video was taken during a reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth II to mark the 50th anniversary of the Investiture of The Prince of Wales back in 2019.
It shows the then-Prince Charles walking alongside his mother through the palace. Camilla Parker Bowles, as she was known at the time, Prince William, and Kate Middleton follow behind them, with Prince Harry and Meghan, who was pregnant with Prince Archie at the time, bringing up the rear.

At one point in the video, Charles and the Queen pause to look at the crown and scepter on display. While the rest of the royals – including Prince William, Kate, and Camilla – are seen respectfully hanging back, Meghan and Prince Harry continue walking, and inadvertently move ahead of the Queen and Charles. This move instantly broke royal protocol – which the internet thinks Prince Harry should have already known!
According to reports, Charles told the couple to “wait,” but they seemingly didn’t listen, and were ultimately escorted away by an aide. And that moment understandably caused a huge stir on social media!
“What didn’t she understand when told to stay back?” asked one person in the comment section of a YouTube video showing the moment in question. “This woman is so desperate for the camera,” they added, followed by the crying laughing emoji.

"Mm kept walking even after Charles said wait. She didn't turn until the aide came," observed a second. "So embarrassing! Harry knew better! Observe the protocol or don't show up!" exclaimed a third. "You can see Charles' frustration. This isn't something he should have to be saying," thought a fourth.
Many others thought Prince Harry was also at fault, and should have said something to his wife. "Harry never did this blatant break of protocol before Meghan. How on earth does she manage to get him to do such things now?" asked a fifth, as a sixth said: "He knows protocol, he should have put his foot down with Meghan." "How can Harry not know that the Queen goes first?" questioned a seventh.
