Meghan Markle Shares New Pictures Of Prince Archie And Princess Lilibet In Behind-The-Scenes Snaps From Her Netflix Show
On September 1st, the As Ever founder, 44, shared some behind the scenes pictures of With Love, Meghan with her 4.1M Instagram followers. And nestled in-between pictures of Meghan and her guests and closeups of the playlist, for example, were shots of her son and daughter.
One picture shows Prince Archie helping out on set with the clapperboard, while another shows Princess Lilibet sitting in the director's chair, facing away from the camera.
But it was the picture of the brother and sister taken from behind that angered people the most, as it showed off Prince Archie's soccer jersey, which provided information about where he plays soccer, thus potentially threatening his privacy.
Meghan Markle Slammed For Posting Pictures Of Her Children Despite Prince Harry's Concerns For Their Privacy
Many people pointed out the hypocrisy of sharing pictures of the children despite constant pleas for privacy. "Privacy. Privacy. We want privacy!" exclaimed one person on an Independent article. "Desperate for attention, now selling the kids," quipped a second, as a third said: "Super weird move to claim you want to respect the privacy of your kids but then trot them out for what's basically a product launch."
"How exploitative. Sharing photos of her kids, even with faces averted or covered by an emoji, to promote her money-making schemes," slammed a fourth, as a fifth added: "Selling her granny comes to mind, whoops she already did that when she pinched QE2's personal pet name without permission."
"When all else fails, bring the kiddies to mommy's workplace," quipped a sixth, this time on a People Instagram post, followed by two crying laughing emojis. "Poor kids. They're nothing but products and bargain material to their mother," concurred a seventh. "Poor kids! Help mama get some viewers!" exclaimed an eighth, as a ninth added: "Show's a failure... time to wheel out the kids!"
Meghan Markle Criticized For Sharing Where Prince Archie Plays Soccer
"Why does Meghan send her kid to a soccer school all the way in Studio City (the valley?) Do they not have schools in Santa Barbara?" asked a tenth critic, this time on X.
"Meghan Markle is [expletive] vile for posting a picture that clearly shows where he goes to soccer school & it's all done simply for publicity for her brand," wrote an eleventh, adding: "The mom who lectured us all that social media literally kills kids is dumping his info out there for all to see."
Then there were other people who played along with the narrative that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet aren't even Prince Harry and Meghan's kids. "Does he actually attend or is this just another one of Meghan Markle's mirages?" asked a twelfth. "She bought the T-shirt & got the child actor to wear it," joked another, as someone else added: "They are rented kids. He must be from there."
