There have been reports of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “going their separate ways” professionally for a while now, as the married couple have attended almost all of their recent events without the other.
If we are to believe yet another royal expert who has weighed in on their current situation, we can expect this to continue for the foreseeable future, as the expert (journalist Phil Dampier, who has been writing about the royal family for over 25 years) believes the former Suits actress wants to focus on herself and her lifestyle brand over anything else. Interestingly, many people on social media think that this professional separation is what Meghan wanted all along, as they believe she “used” Prince Harry to get to where she is now.
This also seems to echo what royal biographer Hugo Vickers recently said, as he predicted that Meghan would “dump” Prince Harry once she no longer needed him. And if her lifestyle brand does turn out to be hugely successful, that could be sooner rather than later!

Royal Expert Discusses Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Professional Separation
A few royal experts have already had their say about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's professional separation, with Dampier making his thoughts known on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show. Although Dampier reportedly believes that this professional separation is something that Meghan wanted so she could focus on her solo projects, he apparently doesn't think their personal relationship will follow suit. At least not at the moment…
"I think Meghan is genuinely doing a lot of work in the background for this Netflix project and American Riviera Orchard," Dampier speculated, adding: "She probably wants a bit of a hiatus so that she can launch that. As for Harry, obviously he's been back and forth with a few charities."
Dampier then referenced some of their solo appearances, which have included Meghan attending the LA Children's Hospital Gala and Prince Harry flying to New York, London, and South Africa for various charity engagements, before reiterating that he doesn't think their professional separation will lead to a personal separation just yet.
He said: "They do seem to be going their separate ways. There's no evidence that they're splitting up at the moment personally."
Dampier did, however, address the fact that many people don't have high hopes for their relationship, noting: "I think we all have our doubts whether the marriage will last 10, 20, 30 years. But only time will tell."

Many people on social media believe that there are already so many problems in Prince Harry and Meghan's marriage, with several predicting that they will announce their personal separation any day now! "Knew it wouldn't last! All a sham from the beginning" exclaimed one Instagram user on an Ok! Magazine post. "She used him," speculated a second, as a third added: "That sham has been over since day 1… an awful pity old dozy Harold had to drag that home to marry!"
Many others wasted no time in slamming the American Riviera Orchard founder's lifestyle brand. "Ain't nobody buying her jam," wrote one non-fan on the same post, as another replied, "Or anything else she is dishing out." "A.R.O is finished!" predicted another IG user, as another chimed in: "Before it even started! She launched it last March."
