According to a royal insider, Meghan Markle‘s ex husband, film producer Trevor Engelson, is preparing to write a new book that will mention their past relationship, and the Duchess is “reportedly terrified.” As Geo News reports, royal expert Neil Sean says that fans will read a “remarkable story” in the upcoming book, that will be written from Engelson’s perspective.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube cannel, Sean recently said that “a lot of people were willing to go on record and speak, many without being paid,” about their relationships with Markle in new books, such as Tom Bower’s unauthorized biography (and Sean is perhaps referring to two personal assistants who Markle was accused of bullying out of Kensington Palace in the past, which she later denied).
While other sources may seem interesting to hear from regarding their opinions on Markle, Sean says, he stresses that her ex husband’s persepective would be even more so.“This must be terrifying for Meghan Markle, herself because obviously, they’ve got an axe to grind, some may say, but on the other side of the coin, they definitely want to get their side of the story out. […] This particular individual would truly have a remarkable story because, after all, he would have first-hand experience of what it was like, yes what it was like, to be married the first time around to the actress from Suits.”
Sean continued, “Trevor’s story itself is remarkable because he’s never spoken on the record about his time with Meghan Markle […] When you think about it, you read the stories, if you believe them, the way that she just wanted to collect the food mixer, or the blender, posted back his ring, that sort of stuff, there’s two sides to every story and of course, we only know her version of events.”
The former Suits actress split from Engelson in 2013 and she said to the court that the reason for this was due to “irreconcilable differences.” Markle and Engelson tied the knot in 2011, got engaged in 2010 and began dating in 2004. While Markle is currently married to Prince Harry and shares two children with him—son Archie (born 2018) and daughter Lilibet (born 2021), Engelson is now married to dietitian Tracey Kurland and is the father of two daughters; Ford (born 2020) and Sienna (born 2021).
