Whatever the Epstein files hold, Melania and Donald Trump are clearly afraid of it. Journalist Michael Wolff has detailed one of the links of Epstein to the Trumps in his new tell-all, The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump, and is alleging that Melania herself “deliberately and maliciously” interfered with his publishing contract, and he’s bringing her to court. Author Alleges Melania Threatened To Sue
In a historic first, a sitting First Lady is the subject of court action. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Wolff is claiming that Melania has not only blocked the publication of his book, but also has made defamatory public statements regarding him and his work.
Wolff says that Melania is responsible for "scaring off" international distributors by accusing him of fabricating interviews, and has personally instructor a PR firm to tell media outlets that she would take legal action if they covered the book.
Wolff also claims that Melania sent him a letter in which she demands he apologize for the "false, defamatory, disparaging, misleading and inflammatory statements" made about her alleged connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

Journalist Goes To Court
In the book, Wolff alleges that Melania Trump first slept with her husband, President Donald Trump, on Epstein's private jet. Melania has reportedly threatened to sue him for $1B in damages, and Wolff is calling her bluff and taking her to court first.
Wolff is asking the court to order Melania to stop threatening him and to pay punitive damages. He is also requesting the court allow him to question Melania and her husband under oath about their relationships with Epstein.
"As a reporter, I’ve never had the opportunity to ask someone questions when their answers have to be given under an oath and in the presence of a court reporter," he told the Daily Beast. "I look forward to asking Melania and Donald Trump about the matters at issue in this case including their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein."
