On November 13th, President Trump and First Lady Melania made a joint appearance at the White House as he signed the Fostering the Future for American Children and Families order, a new government initiative set to improve the American foster care system.
One of the order's biggest supporters and advocates has been the Slovenian native, who launched the initiative and order as part of her Be Best campaign, and hopes it will lead to children in the foster care system receiving better education opportunities, access to technology, help in the workforce, etc.
"This Executive Order, 'Fostering the Future for American Children and Families,' gives me tremendous pride," she wrote on X. "It is both empathetic and strategic. It will certainly be impactful."
For the event, Melania wore a chic and stylish gray pantsuit, which had her looking very sophisticated for her proud moment. She paired the tailored suit with a simple black top underneath her blazer as well as a pair of red-bottomed black heels. Her signature highlighted hair was worn down and styled in loose waves.
