Donald Trump x Stormy Daniels Cheating Scandal
Back in 2018, Stormy Daniels publicly claimed that Donald Trump's former attorney, Michael Cohen, had paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about their alleged affair.
The incident, according to Stormy Daniels, occurred during Melania's pregnancy with her and the former president's son, Barron, in 2006, a decade before Trump's presidency. She says they met in Lake Tahoe at a celebrity golf tournament, and he invited her to his hotel suite for dinner, where he showed her a copy of a golf magazine with his face on the cover.
Stormy then recalls saying, "Someone should take that magazine and spank you with it." Allegedly, the former president then "turned around and pulled his pants down a little," which is when Stormy "gave him a couple of swats." Later that evening, Stormy says they had consensual sex.
Donald Trump has denied any relationship with the adult film star, but on Oct. 28th, 2016, Stormy signed an NDA in which she pledged not to publicly discuss any aspect of their relationship in exchange for $130,000.
In 2023, Trump was charged with falsifying business records to cover up the payment, and claims that the $130K was to stop her "false and extortionist accusations.
Melania Wanted To 'Humiliate' Donald Trump
White House correspondent Katie Rogers just published a new book, American Women: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hilary Clinton to Jill Biden, and in it, she includes interviews with Stephanie Grisham, Melania Trump's former aide.
Grisham says that after the news of the Stormy Daniels cheating scandal broke, Melania flew to Mar-a-Lago without her husband. Grisham, who accompanied her, recalls, "I think [Melania] was pissed at Trump and wanted him to be a little humiliated that she took off." Rogers says Melania was looking for a way "to communicate her anger to the president."
Though Melania and Donald made it through that rough patch, Melania has renegotiated her prenup a number of times since then, allocating more money to herself and their son, Barron, if divorce were to occur.
